Kanye West Doesn’t Want Any Smoke With Snoop Dogg — Check The T-Shirt

By now, we all know Snoop Dogg isn’t a fan of a Donald Trump or anyone who backs him. So, when the D-O-Double-G set his sights on Kanye West for his unwavering support of 45, it wasn’t at all surprising.

Now, ‘Ye has attempted to bridge the gap by posting a photo to Twitter of himself wearing a Snoop t-shirt — again.

This time, he wrote, “All love” in the caption.

Snoop has been going after ‘Ye for a while but it seemed he was ready to put it to rest earlier this month. On October 2, Snoop shared a video of ‘Ye rocking a Snoop t-shirt and wrote in the caption, “Forgiveness is everything.”

But that moment was fleeting. Within a few days, the Death Row legend was back to taunting ‘Ye and insinuated the Kiki in Drake’s “In My Feelings” cut was Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian.

“Drake put dick in your bitch,” he said. “Drake, you a cold nigga, cuz. I like that song but I ain’t know why I liked it. Now I know why I like it. ‘Kiki, do you love me? Remember sucking me?’ Yeah, he put dick in your bitch. How about that?”

Snoop, you’re up.

Ashanti Concert Canceled After Selling Only 24 Tickets
Ashanti Concert Canceled After Selling Only 24 Tickets

Pop queen Ashanti may have 3.8 million followers on Instagram and 1.92 million on Twitter but evidently, that doesn’t mean much when it comes to getting fans off social media and into stands.

The Murder Inc.   royalty   was expected to perform at Stony Brook University’s Back To Brook event later this   month . But according to Bossip, that show was axed after they sold just 24 tickets to the concert.

A statement from the school read, “As an organization, we do our best to host programs for students while providing   diversity   and   inclusion . However, we have struggled to execute certain aspects. With a week before the concert, only 24 tickets are sold to students.

The school went on to explain they had originally booked Teyana Taylor for the gig but she pulled out   last minute , leaving the organizers to   scramble   to properly promote Ashanti as the new   headliner .

Ashanti is currently working on a joint album with her Murder Inc. partner-in-crime Ja Rule.

“We’re gonna carve out the time and make it happen,” she said in June during an interview with ET. “It’s so funny because we’ve been talking about that for so long, but I think now he’s like ‘OK, now it’s time to do it.’”

Let’s hope she has better luck with   album sales .

Facebook to cut out payments for brands issuing fake news

Facebook will scrap advertisement rights for local brands and individuals who use the platform to spread false information.

“This means they will not be able to make money, place advertisements or do anything in relation to that specific content. Their platform will be demoted or permanently shut down.” Facebook strategic media partner for Sub-saharan Africa Jocelyn Muhutu said.

According to the Competition Authority 2017 annual report, at least 20 per cent of consumer protection cases arise from the communication sector in which the social media platform falls.

The Authority notes that the sector is used to spread consumer violation involving false and misleading representations on price, quality, existence of warranty, and promotion for product subscriptions.

The social media platform is working with Africa Fact Check and Pesa check to fact check the authenticity of articles, photos and videos published on its platform.

It has further partnered with 28 fact checkers in 17 countries in Africa to date.

Digital consultancy and research firm Nendo notes that there were at least 8.1 million Facebook users in Kenya as at July 31. This presenting a huge market for brands to communicate with information-hungry consumers.

Facebook Public and Content Policy associate for Africa Fadzai Madzingira said the firm will rely on signals from the community and machine learning to identify false claims.

Besides, the platform will track the 470 million links shared weekly across the globe through facebook to spot and flag off fake information.

“We can fact check any link. If you are a brand putting up an advertisement in form of an article and your claims are false, that can be fact-checked,” Madzingira said.

Once flagged, the false rating will be reduced by 80 per cent with only 20 per cent of your target audience able to see the post.

This will be made possible by reducing the visibility of the posts by pushing it down to the last posts in a users news feed.

At the moment, every Facebook user receives 1,500 new posts on their news feeds at any given time.

However, before demoting or suspending a page or account, Facebook said that the publishers have at least seven days to appeal and make necessary changes on the flagged content.

“If they make changes and the content is correct, the demotion will be reverted. However if the algorithms find that the publisher continuously publishes false information , the demotion of their page will be permanent,” Muhutu said.

Trey Songz   has been dealing with some legal issues over the past month or so. It's nothing necessarily new for him but the latest legal matters on his plate are due to allegedly beating a woman down at a club during All-Star Weekend in February. After denying any sort of wrong doing, it's reported that the singer turned himself in to the LAPD earlier this morning where he's facing felony charge for domestic violence.

According to   TMZ , Trey Songz turned himself in this morning around 6 a.m. to face a domestic violence charge. However, he was later released on $50K bond.
